These scoops are a development of the geometric Teeny Tiny Bowls I make. But the scoops have a handle. This means that they’re perfect for scooping an ingredient (say salt) from a container, and then sitting on your counter or table ready to use. They’re also great to use as caddy spoons – waiting patiently, stored in a container, always there when you need it.
As with the bowls, I can make them as pentagons, hexagons or octagons. The octagonal shape has a shorter handle, but it’s still pinchable. I can’t decide which I like best, so it’s up to you! You have to choose a shape (or number of sides) when you order.
I always work with “found” wood, so although the shape of the scoop remains similar – the wood will always be unique.
